The RECON 550 Digital Night Vision Scope is one of the latest innovations in the emerging Digital Night Vision market.
Designed specifically with Law Enforcement in mind, the RECON 550 is an easy to use tool for any surveillance need.
Compact, with resolution that exceeds early Gen 3 units, you just can't beat the performance for the price.

The RECON 550 incorportates a highly sensitive CCD, resistance to bright light exposure, a five lens eyepiece for sharp images, fast 50mm f/1.0 objective lens, and a integral "Stealth" IR light which allows for clear images in pitch black conditions. The "Stealth" IR light operates in the 960nm frequency, which is completely invisible not only to the eye, but to traditional "starlight" image intensifier night vision systems.

A contrast/gain control provides exposure adjustment, and color-selectable customization allows for individual viewing preferences.
An RCA jack is provided to record what the RECON 550 sees. Any TV, DVR, or portable recording device can record what is viewed.
A MIL-STD-1913 Weaver Rail for accessories is included.

The RECON 550R model also has still picture capture capability, using a standard SD memory card.
Add the optional 960 IR Flashlight for additional "Stealth" IR illumination. The 960 IR will mount to the RECON 550 or RECON 550R, or can be used as a hand-held supplemental light source. Frequency is 940-960 nm.
